If you are satisfied with the simulation, Invisalign will then make the aligners. Every two weeks you replace these aligners by a new set. Check-ups are every 6-8 weeks. |

The aligners fit exactly over your teeth, and because they are transparent it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing a brace. You must wear the aligners 22 hrs./day. |

- Why placing Invisalign?
Simply put teeth just aren't always straight. Not only can this be less attractive from esthetical point of view, it may also cause problems .
Perfectsmile offers you a braces treatment that will adjust the alignement of your teeth in just 1 to 1,5 years using the latest developments in orthodontics. Mostly this will mean wearing braces with white brackets during a prior discussed period.
Perfectsmile works with orthodontist that have had a 4-years specialization in orthodontics after their studies becoming a general dentist. This way we can guarantee you the best possible treatment, using the latest products and developments in orthodontics.
- How does the treatment work?
Before every treatment we will have a brief intake. We will then review your possibilities and give you an advise by e-mail (as an alternative we may suggest an other treatment e.g. placing facings).
After our intake we will plan for an appointment with our hygienist (this may be combined with the intake itself). This way we will ensure that your teeth and gums are in perfect shape for placement of the braces.
Next appointment will be the placement of the braces.
This is a painless procedure and anesthetics are not needed.
During the treatment you will have regular check-ups with our orthodontist. Also your braces will be set 'tighter'. You will receive an e-mail or SMS as a reminder. Reserving your check-up can easily done using our website.
- Does the treatment hurt, are there side-effects?
Theoretically the treatment is painless, however there is always the possibility that your teeth become somewhat sensitive during or after the treatment. No side effects have been reported or experienced.
- What are the costs for a treatment?
There are two types of treatment:
-- Express: the treatment is limited to 3 months and the costs are 2.195 euro.
-- Lite: the treatment is limited to 7 months and the costs are 3.195 euro.
-- Full: the treatment is not limited and the costs are 4.595 euro.
The treatment is not always possible, therefore we offer an intake during which we can give you advise about Invisalign. The costs of this intake are 29 euro.
After the treatment it necesary to use a retainer for keeping your teeth straight. You will use this retainer during the night, mostly about 2 or 3 times a week. The retainers are 200 euro per arch.
