• Why applying facings to your teeth?
Several esthetic problems with your teeth may be resolved using facings: discolored teeth can be permanently whitened (even when a whitening-treatment doesn't give the appropriate result), small spaces between your teeth can be closed, small corners of your teeth that are lost, or teeth that are tilt may be aligned.
• How does the treatment work?
Before the treatment we will have an intake appointment. That way we can assess your situation and give you our personal advise about the options for applying facings to your teeth. Of course there is room for you to ask us all of your questions.
After the intake we will make an impression of your teeth using a special siliconbased gel. Of which we will produce a 3D-mold that is used for manufacturing your facings.
Because the size and shape of our facings should fit perfectly with your face and teeth, we will make professional photos of your situation. Of course it is fun to have a look at these after the treatment in done.
During the second appointment it is time to apply the specially manufactured facings to your teeth. This is a painless procedure and anesthetics are not needed. |

After we have made your teeth a bit rough we can apply the facings directly to your teeth. As said this is a painless procedure. We will then do a final check if the facings have the appropriate shape and size. If not we will reshape the facings last bit. Now the treatment is finished in an average total time of just 1,5 hours.
• Does the treatment hurt, are there side-effects?
Theoretically the treatment is painless, however there is always the possibility that your teeth become somewhat sensitive during or after the treatment. No side effects have been reported or experienced.
• What are the costs for a treatment?
The price for a treatment is of course dependand on your personal situation. But in most cases this will be € 595 all-inclusive per tooth.
